We had scheduled a golf ball round up at the MSU Golf Course for tomorrow morning at 6am. Two things have come up that has caused us to cancel it for tomorrow. There is a tournament scheduled for tomorrow and the weather is looking crappy as well. We decided to just reschedule the round up. Next Tuesday, 24 April 2012, at 6am is our next round up. Please come out and help gather up some golf balls. Contact us if you have any further questions. Have a wonderful week!
This might be of some interest to a lot of people. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has been conducting an exploration of the Gulf of Mexico. They terminate their mission on the anniversary of the Deep Water Horizon accident next Friday, 20 April 2012. They will be at the site on that day. In the mean time they are exploring the northern portion of the Gulf of Mexico. Currently they are about 75 miles off the coast of LA. The rover is at a depth of 1300+ meters right now. If you would like to watch all of this live you can follow the instructions below.
We had a meeting yesterday and discussed a few things. First, I would like to congratulate our new officers. Well, only 1 new officer, the rest are old officers reelected.
Trey Norcross - President
Jeffery Edge - Vice President
Cameron Gray - Secretary
Andrea Seitz - Treasurer/Social Planner/Trip Organizer
They look forward to serving the club next year! Andrea volunteered for the last 2 "titles" haha

Discover SCUBA is a non-certification course offered through Neptune's Dive Center in cooperation with SCUBA Dawgs. We hold one once a semester. Usually on 2 separate days to give more people the opportunity to join in on the fun. Discover SCUBA teaches just the basics of breathing underwater, clearing a mask and clearing your regulator. To get an actual Open Water certification you must take the full course. Neptune's Dive Center will be there to sign people up for PADI Open Water certification. The current dates for Discover SCUBA are listed below.

We would like to remind everyone that this is our weekend to clean the stadium. We will be cleaning the East side, half of section T, all of sections U, V, W. This includes the upper deck as well. It was decided to meet at the stadium at 2PM on Sunday, 6 November 2011. The stadium HAS to be clean by dark. That gives us 4hrs. The more people show up, the faster it will go. Trash bags and latex gloves are provided. We highly recommend bringing your own work gloves if you have them. Let us know if you have any questions.
